The challenge

The group ran seven different ERP systems across twelve countries, inherited through growth and acquisitions. Consolidating financials took weeks, and every country handled orders and inventory differently.

Local tax, invoicing and statutory reporting rules meant a single global template had to stay flexible where the law required it.

Our approach

  1. Agree a global template

We worked with process owners to define one standard way of working for core processes.

  2. Separate global from local

Country-specific legal requirements were captured as controlled local variations.

  3. Plan the rollout

Countries were grouped into deployment waves based on readiness and risk.

  4. Oversee delivery

We acted as the client's advisor across the systems integrator, data migration and testing.

The solution

The group now runs a single global SAP instance with harmonised processes, while each country keeps the local compliance it needs. Financial consolidation, which used to take weeks, comes from one system.

Leadership has one view of orders, inventory and margins across every region.
