The challenge

Water and fertiliser were applied evenly across every field, though soil and moisture varied widely. Some zones were overwatered while others stayed dry.

Rising input costs and water scarcity made blanket application increasingly hard to justify.

Our approach

  1. Map field variability

Soil sampling and historical yield data were used to divide fields into management zones.

  2. Install sensors

Soil moisture probes and weather stations report conditions for each zone.

  3. Recommend actions

The platform calculates water and fertiliser needs per zone using sensor and forecast data.

  4. Control irrigation

Irrigation valves can be scheduled automatically by zone.

The solution

Each zone now receives the water and nutrients it needs, when it needs them. Farm managers check field conditions and upcoming irrigation from a phone.

Decisions are based on measurements rather than routine.
